When the online trans dating profile pictures: it’s about a person

One of the most common problems with online transgender dating is that you finally meet someone new and they don’t look like they do on their profile photos. If you’re using a photo that doesn’t really reflect who you are, what does it say?

Based o who you are, you’re worried that you won’t be able to attract a good trans date.

If you looked more attractive on the past(based on purely traditional criteria of social acceptance), maybe some people would have dated you then, but not now. Remember, however, that false advertising is a counterproductive strategy. You may be locked into a trans date, but your trans date will be frustrated that you misrepresented yourself, and they usually won’t ask for a second date.

As a potential romantic partner, you feel insecure about your overall attractiveness.

Photos are an important part of letting others know what you look like. However, they are not there key factor that determines whether two people can get along and become a romantic couple. In other words, you don’t want someone who wants to be with you because of how you look. If you don’t match up, it won’t last. Post real, up-to-date trans dating photos so you can avoid the possibility of someone annoying you because they don’t look like you and deciding not to give you a second chance.

You’re trying to tell yourself that you “forgot” to upload transgender photos.

If your goal is to find a great relationship (which, by the way, is a great goal), don’t think too much about it. Don’t get caught up in fantasies or silly excuses; Be strategic and invest wisely. People like and trust you more when you are authentic and honest.

You don’t mind cheating.

If there are some pictures in your profile that don’t show the real you, you are deceiving others. Maybe you didn’t mean to, maybe you have a way of justifying your actions. But at the end of the day, it’s not a meaningful strategy. The vast majority of men and women you meet on your first trans date are confused or even angry that you’re not being honest about your appearance. If you’re frustrated or mistrusted on your first transgender date, most reasonable people won’t give you another chance.

You tell yourself that your photos shouldn’t matter that much because appearance shouldn’t.

For a moment, this sounded like a very complicated argument. But when we looked more deeply, we found that the argument was meaningless. If you tell yourself that your inaccuracy doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, you’re probably right on an ideological level. The problem is that transgender dating is not a game or a TV show with contestants. Like it or not, we’re stuck in r-e-a-l life, where people are busy in real life. Use photos that don’t look like you’re wasting your time or someone else’s. Photos are used to let others know what the person really looks like in cyberspace. You get a name, a photo, and some information – all of which are important combinations as two people try to figure out if they can really make a mature relationship work.
